C&I customers can participate directly or via aggregators by enrolling and curtailing at least 25 kW during called events.

Key details

Participants receive payments based on actual curtailed load during summer events; no formal bidding process.
Curtailment events are called by Evergy during peak load conditions, usually with advance notice.
Participants are compensated after the season based on verified kW reduction during events.
