WREC residential customers with eligible smart thermostats can enroll online and allow automated thermostat adjustments during DR events.
Key details
Participants receive a $20 annual bill credit and an additional $10 winter credit, plus entry into a $250 gift card raffle for high participation.
Dispatches occur during summer (1–7 pm) and winter (6pm–10 am) demand peaks with thermostat adjustments up to 4°F.
Incentives are based on participation rates and thermostat response to events.
