50+ MW industrial customers contract with AVECC and AECC to enroll under a demand response tariff.

Key details

Participants avoid capacity charges for interruptible load through negotiated agreements.
All PIUs must pay an initial load intake process deposit of $1,000 per MW of prospective load for any costs required. Any remaining funds will be applied as a credit to the PIU after completing all required reviews and consultations.
Customers retain savings through avoided demand costs and are liable to switch back to firm service if they fail to perform.
