Smart charging optimizes your charging to automatically occur during off-peak times when electricity demand is lower.

When activated in the ev.energy app, Smart Charging optimizes your charging for the cheapest, greenest energy available. To enable smart charging, select the Smart tab in the app and scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the ‘Turn on smart charging’ button. Once you enable smart charging you can set your ready by time. The ready by time ensures your vehicle is ready for when you need it. This is set to 7 am every day by default, but you can override this on a one-off basis or set a Weekly Schedule
