Large C&I customers and backup generator owners can enroll via agreement with GP&L to reduce load during ERCOT emergency events.

Key details

Participants receive availability and performance payments via GP&L under ERCOT’s ERS compensation structure.
Resources are dispatched during ERCOT-declared emergencies with 10 or 30-minute notice.
Participants are paid based on committed MW reductions and verified performance during dispatched events.
