Large C&I customers with at least 5 MW of interruptible demand enroll via contract with AVECC and AECC.

Key details

Participants receive $4.82/kW/month credit for committed interruptible load.
AECC can call curtailments during system peaks or emergencies for up to 50% of available hours.
Participants forfeit credits if unable to curtail and may be removed from the rider.
