Residential members with eligible smart thermostats enroll online and receive credits for allowing EnergyUnited to adjust settings during high demand.

Key details

Participants receive a $50 enrollment credit and an additional $20 bill credit each June for continued participation.

During peak events EnergyUnited pre-cools then raises thermostat setpoints by up to 4°F for up to four hours, with opt-out available.

Credits are automatically applied to the member’s bill annually based on enrollment and continued participation.
