Residential members with eligible Wi-Fi thermostats enroll through Nest or Ecobee apps and allow PVREA to adjust setpoints during cooling-season events.

Key details

Participants receive a $50 signup bill credit and a $30 post-season participation credit; no competitive bidding is required.

PVREA calls up to 20 events per season between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., each lasting up to 4 hours, adjusting thermostat setpoints by a few degrees.

Bill credits are applied to member accounts at enrollment and after the cooling season based on participation confirmation.
