SRP’s voluntary demand response program is designed to reward businesses for reducing electricity use during periods of high demand. Participants agree to brief, limited conservation events which adjust their thermostats during peak electric demand periods from May 1 through October 31. Participants can anticipate at least one adjustment, and a maximum of up to 15 conservation events per summer. Participants will receive a $50 bill credit per device after being accepted into the program and a $25 bill credit per device at the end of the summer season for participating. Up to 100 devices per business will be incentivized.
