During times when the demand for electricity is at its highest, BGE may briefly adjust participating thermostat by up to 4 degrees.
During periods of high energy usage, BGE may launch an Energy Savings Day, during which BGE will notify customers that they can earn bill credits by reducing their energy use.
Electric vehicle (EV) drivers can earn monthly bill credits for allowing BGE to charge during the most optimal times for the electric grid. Charging will be automatically scheduled each day.
